About Dr. Torres
Josefina Torres, M.D., is a pediatrician who has been caring for children in South Texas for the past 30+ years.
Education & Experience
Dr. Torres went to medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon Facultad de Medicina where she received her Medical degree. Pediatric training was obtained at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

She strives to deliver the best care to every one of her patients in a loving, compassionate, and welcoming medical home environment.
Background
She grew up in Corpus Christi after her parents immigrated from Monterrey, Mexico, when she was young. Coming from a family of eight sisters prompted her to pursue a career in Pediatrics. She attended Del Mar College and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry.
